Lawn Grubs are the larval stage of May/June Beetles, Japanese Beetles and European Chafers.

Lawn Guardian consists of beneficial nematodes that are microscopic worms which are native to Canada. Lawn Guardian is a mix of two nematodes, one that is close to the surface approximately 3” and one that goes deeper approximately 7”. NIC nematodes are isolated Canadian Strains that are reared on a live host. They are fresher, more keyed to Canadian pests and 100% organic.

In the spring (May) when soil temperature is 10^oC (50^oF) or warmer and grubs are seen in the soil, an application will stop grubs from damaging your grass roots.

Apply in autumn (end of August to September) eliminating grubs thus preventing fall and following springs damage. Next years application should be in the fall.

Notes
Beneficial nematodes are most effective when soil is moist and remains moist for 3 to 5 days after application. Lawn Guardian is easy to apply using a hose-end sprayer and comes with full instructions.
