Encarsia Formosa - White Fly Eliminator (1000-bag)
Product Description
Small (1 mm) black and yellow wasp that lays its eggs inside whitefly scale (egg/nymph). The whitefly scale becomes blackened when parasitized. Encarsia is attracted to the smell of honeydew made by the whiteflies. Encarsia feeds and parasites greenhouse, silver leaf and sweet potato whiteflies.

Optimum Conditions
20-37oC (68-98oF), 50-70% humidity.
Release Rate
1-10 Encarsia per m2 ( 10ft. sq.) or 1-5 Encarsia per infested plant introduced every 1 to 2 weeks for a total of 5 introductions.
Do not release Encarsia alone if whiteflies are established, use with Delphastus.
Special Notes
Needs a minimum of 16 hours to be active. Use with yellow sticky cards to catch adult whiteflies.
